It was an exceptional evening for international center Andrey Vorontsevich (204-87) who led the winners and scored 29 points and 9 rebounds. The former international swingman Viktor Khryapa (204-82) accounted for 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. The former international guard Egor Vyaltsev (192-85) came up with 21 points and 4 assists and American guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) added 23 points and 4 steals respectively for Triumph Lyubertsy in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Spartak SP. Triumph Lyubertsy lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. CSKA Moscow will meet at home league's second-placed Lokomotiv in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Triumph Lyubertsy will play against Khimky (#5) in Khimki and hope to secure a win.
