Artem Zabelin (215-F/C-88) and Lokomotiv Kuban part ways as the player will not continue with the squad. It was announced earlier that Artem Zabelin has found the new team after he left CSKA. Artem Zablein joined CSKA Moscow (A Superleague) in 2007. Last season the centre notched 3.8 points, 2.2 boards and 1.2 blocks per game in VTB League.
In PBL Artem Zabelin averaged 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per appearance. He also played for CSKA Moscow U23 team. Before joining CSKA Artem Zabelin had stints with Avtodor Saratov and Dynamo Saint Petersburg. Artem Zabelin used to play for Russian U18 and U20 National Teams. He participated at 2006 and 2008 European Championships.
In his top game Artem Zabelin scored 12 points at the Regular Season Round 11 when CSKA beat Enisey 81-58. The game was mostly controlled by CSKA Moscow. Enisey Krasnoyarsk was better in third quarter 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CSKA Moscow made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 Enisey Krasnoyarsk turnovers.
