BC Telenet Oostende claimed the second straight Ethias League title. They overcame Mons-Hainaut at home court tonight to sweep the championship series. Dusan Djordjevic (195-G-83, agency: Beo Basket) stepped up with 16 points to pace the hosts.
Mons-Hainaut entered the game with their backs against the wall. They aggressively started the encounter. The visitors grabbed a 15:13 lead ten minutes into the game. But Oostende soothed the tension in the Arena as they pulled ahead for a 30:25 halftime lead. But Mons-Hainaut were not about to give away.
