Khimki steals valuable win in Munich 25  october  2019

Khimki Moscow Region recorded its first road win of the 2019-20 EuroLeague season by downing FC Bayern Munich 74-87 at Audi Dome on Thursday.
Khimki improved to 3-1 in the standings while Bayern dropped to 2-2. Alexey Shved led the winners with 19 points, Anthony Gill added 17 and Janis Timma and Devin Booker each had 13 for Khimki. Greg Monroe led Bayern with 18 points and Vladimir Lucic and Maodo Lo each added 12 apiece for the hosts. Monroe led a 10-0 run which allowed Bayern to shake off a slow start and get a 19-17 lead after 10 minutes. Monroe and Lucic kept Bayern ahead, 37-36, but Timma, Gill and Booker combined for all the points in an 0-20 run that gave Khimki a 37-56 lead early in the third quarter. Khimki kept a 55-70 margin at the end of the third quarter and didn't have much trouble cruising to a well-deserved win.
