“We understood immediately that it would be a tough game. Kalev got off to a good start, but we managed to change the course of the game in the fourth quarter. At the end, we were quicker and stronger. Our newcomer Janis Timma really helped us today. Timma was even giving advice to guys who’ve played with me for two months and reminded them of the plays. I’ve followed Janis for several years when he still played for VEF then moved to Zenit St Petersburg. I’ve always like him and we wanted to invite back when I coached Khimki the first time”.
