The 2013-14 Eurocup regular season reaches Round 4 with six undefeated teams and as many as nine other squads looking for their first wins in order to join the race for the Last 32 – before it’s too late! Four games will open fire on Tuesday, followed by 20 more on a busy Wednesday. Don't miss the fun all over the continent!
Group A: Le Mans Sarthe Basket downed Artland Dragons Quakenbrueck 67-79 on Tuesday, staying perfect away from home. Win improved Le Mans to 3-1, for at least a share of the second place in Group A, while Artland drops to 1-3 in the fifth place. Behind 19 points and 6 assists from Dashaun Wood, the visitors had advantage from start to finish, using couple of big runs in the first quarter to open up 14-32 advantage, and they never looked back. On Wednesday, FoxTown Cantu (3-0) goes againts CEZ Basketball Nymburk (1-2) in an already-critical game for the guests. Meanwhile, Telenet Ostend (2-1) welcomes Cibona Zagreb (0-3) for the first time since the 2001-02 season. Cibona looks for its first Eurocup win after 15 consecutive losses.

Group B: Bilbao Basket improved to 4-0 atop of the standings with 77-67 win over Elan Chalon sur Saone on Tuesday. The hosts pulled away to a double-digit lead in the first quarter, and behind 16 points plus 6 rebounds from German Gabriel, cruised to victory. On Wednesday, Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari (2-1) visits Cedevita Zagreb (1-2), as both teams face each other for the first time ever. Belgacom Spirou Charleroi (0-3) takes on visiting EWE Baskets Oldenburg (2-1), as the hosts try to break a 15-game losing streak in the competition.

Group C: In an all-French showdown on Tuesday, Paris Levallois picked up its first Eurocup win by defeating Asvel Villeurbanne Lyon 83-65. Win improved Paris to 1-3, while Asvel dropped to 2-2. Nicolas Lang and Landing Sane had 16 points apiece in victory, while Elton Brown had a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. On Wednesday, Ratiopharm Ulm (2-1) hosts Union Olimpija Ljubljana (2-1) for the first time ever with the winner sure to at least share first place. Cimberio Varese (1-2) visits Valencia Basket (2-1) for the first time since the 2004-05 season. Back then, Valencia beat Varese twice in the regular season.

Group D: Alba Berlin used some stiff defense to down previously unbeaten BCM Gravelines Dunkerque 70-59 on Tuesday. Victory gets Berliners back to the winning ways, as both teams now hold 3-1 record in a share of the top spot in the standings. David Logan paced the winners with 17 points. On Wednesday, two traditional teams in European basketball face each other for the first time when Telekom Baskets Bonn (1-2) takes Belfius Mons-Hainaut (0-3). CAI Zaragoza (1-2) hosts Virtus Rome (2-1). Jon Stefansson of CAI has the chance to play against his former team.

Group E: In a big, highly anticipated battle for first place, Khimki Moscow Region (2-1) hosts Pinar Karsiyaka (3-0) for the first time ever. Khimki has a 7-0 home record against Turkish teams. In a battle for their first Eurocup win, Lukoil Academic Sofia (0-3) welcomes Igokea Aleksandrovac (0-3). Needless to say that the loser in this game will be in a tough situation. CSU Asesoft Ploiesti (2-1) visits Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem (2-1) in a fight to stay in the upper part of the standings.

Group F: PAOK Thessaloniki (2-1) faces Khimik Yuzhne (3-0) in a big game for first place. PAOK is 2-0 at home against Ukrainian teams and Khimik has a 1-1 record on Greek soil. Aykon TED Ankara (1-2) faces Nizhny Novgorod (2-1) in a battle between Eurocup newcomers. Ankara forward Vanja Plisnic plays against his former team. In a high voltage showdown, Buducnost Voli Podgorica (1-2) takes on Alba Fehervar (0-3), in what is a battle between a Eurocup veteran and a new, ambitious squad.

Group G: VEF Riga (2-1) takes on Unics Kazan (3-0) in the upper part of the standings. Both teams face each other for the first time in European club competitions but Unics has a 4-0 record against VEF in the VTB League. Maccabi Haifa Bazan (2-1) welcomes Banvit Bandirma (2-1) in another high-profile showdown. MZT Skopje Aerodrom (0-3) goes against Kalev Cramo Tallinn (0-3), as both teams try to end their respective losing streaks and rejoin the Last 32 race.

Group H: Besiktas Integral Forex Istanbul (2-1) hosts Panionios Athens (2-1) in a first-time showdown to stay atop the group standings. Bisons Loimaa (1-2) faces Spartak St. Petersburg (1-2) in Vantaa — a new location for Eurocup games this week. Fresh off its first-ever Eurocup win, Neptunas Klaipeda (1-2) takes difficult Radnicki Kragujevac, led by rebounding machine Mouphtaou Yarou (14.3 rpg.).
