JDA Dijon continued building roster for its Eurocup debut season, signing forward Kris Joseph for next season on Monday.
Joseph (2.01 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Elan Chalon, where he made his European and Eurocup debuts last season. Joining Chalon midway through the regular season, Joseph scored in double digits in four of five Eurocup games he played, and averaged 11.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest. In the French League, Joseph posted 13.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He played college basketball at Syracuse, and professionally for both Boston and Brooklyn in the NBA, as well as Maine and Springfield in the NBA Development League. Joseph is Dijon’s third signing this summer, after the additions of point guard Erving Walker, who was Joseph’s teammate at Chalon, and forward Jacques Alingue.
