Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:
Congratulations to CSKA, the club, the team, players, coaches, medical staff, management – everyone who contributed to the victory. As Sergey Ivanov mentioned, this is the unique result – we finished in playoffs with 9-0 record. We won the title and, importantly, we played excellent basketball both on defense and offense. We were the best team in the competition, and we played against great opponent: Khimki also deserve congratulations for the season where they won Eurocup and played in VTB League finals. They have excellent players and coaching staff, Rimas Kurtinaitis and his team did huge job. This makes our success even more significant. As for the game, we were focused and left no doubts from the first minutes setting the tone on both ends of the floor. In the first half we made 71% of twos, 72% of threes and 83% of free throws. And we finished the game with very good numbers.
