German U20 National Team victoriously capped their Turgut Atakol Tournament campaign. They overcame Polish counterparts in the final game in Istanbul. Ismet Akpinar (192-PG-95, agency: Beo Basket) nailed 17 points for the winning side.
Poland eked out a 16:12 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Poland stayed in front throughout the second term. They established a 32:26 halftime lead. Germany tied things up at 38 midway through the third term but Germany quickly restored the lead and entered the fourth quarter up by 10 points 50:40.
