Rimas Kurtinaitis, BC Khimki head coach:

— Romanian teams are not very well known in Europe, as they are relatively new to play European Cups. Our opponent CSU Asesoft Ploiesti has good players. Judging by their recent games, I can say they play modern basketball, by moving the ball fast, so it will not be easy for us. First of all, we should pay attention to the Serbian center Vladimir Tica, who once played in Russia, as well as Finnish national Lee and American Flowers, who is a good shooter. We have to do great job and win at home.

Petteri Koponen, BC Khimki guard:

— I think it will be a tough game like every game in the season. Of course, we are favorites of the match as we play at home and we have to win. In CSU Asesoft Ploiesti there are a lot of good players, especially Finnish National, my teammate Gerald Lee. I will be glad to meet him. We have known each other for a long time as we play for Finland for many years. He is a great rebounder and will try to make problems for us but we have such guys as Davis and Augustine so it will be tough for Ploiesti under the hoop.
