Dusko Ivanovic, BC Khimki head coach:

“I think it will be a very tough game because Lietkabelis plays smartly and with good discipline. It’s a smart team with big experience. Lietkabelis is a dangerous opponent and if you don’t play with concentration it can beat everyone. We had a long break after last game against Kalev and probably lost a little bit of a rhythm, but it’s a very important game for us. We’ll fight with 100%”.

Alexey Shved, BC Khimki guard:

“I feel good and had some practices with the team. We are preparing for the first EuroCup Top 16 game. Hopefully, we’ll win and we’ll do everything for to reach this result. We had a good four-day break and everyone had a chance to meet with family, friends and relatives. We had a mental rest but now everyone is ready to compete. Our opponent, Lietkabelis, got a Top 16 spot that says enough about them. They have good players in the roster and play hard and aggressively. I may say good words about Lavrinovic brothers as I played with Darjus in one team. I know they will fight until the end, trying to win. Our goal is not to give them this chance and register a home win”.
