Latvian forward Janis Timma joined Khimki Moscow Region on loan from Olympiacos Piraeus. The agreement was reached till the end of 2018/2019 season. Welcome to the club, Janis!

Rimas Kurtinaitis, Khimki Moscow Region head coach:
“We have serious problems with rebounds, so we decided to enlarge our roster and invited tall shooting forward Harrison and small forward Timma, who can also play at position four. Timma is good in the paint and has good shot. Now it's a good choice for us. He will help us play more aggressively. I have known Timma for a long time, he is a good player, he just may not have found his place in Olympiacos, although he played great in Baskonia, not to mention about Zenit St Petersburg. He has great potential, which we intend to reveal”.
Timma will play only in the VTB United League games.
