“I am very happy that we finally won in the EuroLeague. I hope all our problems are over as almost all the players are back on the court. Tonight, we played good defense and also controlled the game, and everything was great. We also played much smarter on offense, especially at the end of the game. I really liked the way Alexey Shved played tonight: he played for the team and, perhaps, didn't score his average norm of points, but made 12 assists, played defense, and did exactly what was needed from him for a team result. I am very happy with how McCollum played. He was able to get into the game in such a short time and understand what and how we play. Today, he helped us a lot in every way: when it was difficult for the team, he took the game on himself and played good defense against the fast players of Crvena Zvezda, such as Loyd. In a word, he's good. He fits in well with our team, he is good at practice and, well, he is just a good guy. I think our business will improve with him”.

“I think we played great defense especially in the second half, we moved the ball had a lot of open shots, and Errick [McCollum] played a really great game. It’s a team win and we’re happy to get the first victory. We missed open shots in the third quarter but still played our way and stayed together”.

“It was good that we came together, we’ve faced a lot of adversity with a lot of guys out. I’m glad we’ve now got almost the full team and when we all come together we can be a strong team. The coaches did a great job pushing me every day and getting me into shape for a EuroLeague game, and my teammates continued to believe in me and encourage me. I’m glad the team gave me the minutes and the confidence to make some shots”.
