Head coach Dusko Ivanovic commented upon Jones III's termination.

"Unfortunately, Perry did not fit to our model of the game, — Ivanovic said. — We expected him to be at another level; our team has big ambitions, but Jones did not fit into the team mechanism. He had two months to demonstrate his best qualities and improve the game; we have extended his contract for another month (the contract had the option of termination of the contract to 1 October) and thought he could play much better, but his performance was unsuccessful. We'll see if we can sign someone at his position. It is difficult to find good players now, so we need to be patient. In the next games, Ilnytskiy and Likhodey will have to play at fourth position".
