GAME NOTES
In their Round 5 clash, the teams' first ever in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Khimki easily downed Gran Canaria 87-72. Alexey Shved led the scoring with 24 points and dished 7 assists, while Tony Crocker added 17 points in victory.
Khimki and Gran Canaria met in the 2015 7DAYS EuroCup Finals, where Khimki swept Gran Canaria in a home-and-away series to win its second title in that competition. Of all the players from that series, Egor Vialtsev and Sergey Monia are still with Khimki while Albert Oliver, Eulis Baez and Oriol Pauli remain with Gran Canaria.
Gran Canaria matched its EuroLeague club record in steals with 10 against Khimki in Round 5.
Tony Crocker set a career-high index rating of 22 and matched his EuroLeague best with 17 points in the Round 5 win over Gran Canaria.
Anzejs Pasecniks posted his career highs in index rating (26), rebounds (9) and steals (3) in the Round 5 loss against Khimki.
